Researched

Based on manufacturer documentation, published specifications, pricing, manuals, and reliable outside sources. This does not imply physical product testing. Most Outdoor Tech Index content currently uses this label.

Hands-On

Reserved only for products Outdoor Tech Index actually obtains and evaluates directly. Hands-on articles will say so explicitly.

Affiliate relationships
